About Me
David Farquharson
www.davidfarquharson.co.uk

I spent my teenage years in the beginning of the balaeric era. The sound of trance instantly took me away from the world and yet united me with it also.
My biggest influence of the time was the melodic and captivating sounds of The Thrillseekers, Above & Beyond, Salt Tank, Armin Van Buuren, Binary Finary, Tiesto, Dumonde etc...
I progressed forwards with time and started to branch out my tastes listening to more varied styles of trance and house like Astral Projection (which introduced me to psytrance) and more recently have found the sounds of artists such as Daniel Kandi, Signalrunners, Jaytech, David West, Alex M.O.R.P.H and Robert Nickson to name a few.
I have been technically producing since I was in primary school. Being lucky to have a professional musician father with a recording studio meant I had access to synthesizers and MIDI sequencers from a young age.
I began to build my experience and eventually discovered DAW programs in the mid to late 90's beginning with using MOD trackers via the Amiga systems.
In more recent times, I have had a couple of tracks signed after being approached via myspace and my website and continue to write music for me in the hope that others enjoy it.
